This week I was given the challenge to create an outfit in all the same color & make it look wearable. I made three and I hope I succeeded! But I liked the idea so much that I decided to make this my viewers challenge as well! I love this necklace! It is a classic twist in a bold statement necklace yet it such a simple piece. It can also add a sweet update to any outfit. I would love to wear this piece with a cute simple flowy pink shirt with a floral print a-line skirt. I hope this piece of jewelry inspires you to go out and buy a classic white piece of jewelry. We all need at least one piece anyways!

I love this look by Dsquared2! It is truly amazing. The jeans I would buy in a heartbeat and the shoes are to die for, but I have to say my favorite piece is the stunning, dramatic coat. The way it flows back gives it the vibe it came straight out of a movie. I especially love the way it is cinched in at the waist. It gives it a dramatic flowing effect while making you look thin. It also shows off the curves you want to show off and hides the ones you want to hide! It is not at all like the bulky coats you usually see. It is nice and feminine which is nice to see in a jacket.

DIY Sunday! -fabric bracelets

 These fabric bracelets are amazing! They are so easy to make and they go with just about any outfit. You can also use the fabric from old shirts you do not care to wear anymore instead of wasting the shirt. I hope you all enjoy making these bracelets!

supplies: four strips of fabric 16" inches in length (patterned fabrics do best), scissors, two 3 in 1 tools (you could use one or some other tools but this is what I find easiest), latches/rings

 

1. tie all four strands of fabric together at the top using one simple knot

2. braid strands together (you do not have to follow any specific pattern in fact they look best to me when there is no pattern just braid them however you like)

3. tie knot at end of braid after checking to see if it is the correct length to fit your wrist

4. push one ring through at least one strand of fabric on the first knot 

5. push one ring with latch through at least one strand of fabric on the second knot

Then your done!!
